Pension scope investigations

About half of all pension lawsuits in The Netherlands concern a dispute about affiliation with a mandatory industry-wide pension fund. An employer often draws the short straw. Pension funds have extensive investigative tools and sufficient resources to hire the best lawyers. 

It is important for employers to be proactive about this subject and not to adopt a wait-and-see attitude. Purposeful reasoning and underestimation of the problem does not help. 

KWPS can support employers and lawyers, not only by investigating spheres of activity and consulting with pension funds, but also by investigating and determining alternatives, such as actuarial equivalence, a temporary dispensation or another company structure.
